Job Purpose
To design, develop, maintain and enchase case and workflow management solutions using LexisNexis Visualfiles, supporting the operational and strategic objectives of the business.
The Visualfiles Developer will work closely with internal stakeholders and IT teams to streamline business processes, improve system efficiency, and ensure robust, scalable, and user-
friendly applications that align with compliance and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code that adheres to organisational standards and industry best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, giving and receiving constructive feedback to ensure high-quality deliverables and requesting specific feedback.
- Continuously work on improving code quality.
- Maintain a strong focus on delivering high-quality features on time while balancing productivity with the need for thorough testing and refinement.
- Demonstrate adaptability by responding positively to changing priorities or requirements and pivoting as necessary to meet team and project goals.
- Take full ownership of the features you work on, from initial design to deployment and ongoing support.
- Ensure you thoroughly understand the requirements and business objectives of your work and that you are responsible for its successful delivery.
- Work effectively within the team, sharing knowledge, providing feedback, and helping teammates as needed.
- Actively contribute to team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and retrospectives to help improve processes and collaboration.

Experience and Knowledge
- Experience developing with LexisNexis Visualfiles.
- Strong programming skills with a focus on writing efficient, and maintainable code.
- Knowledge of industry best practices for code quality, testing, and development.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Adaptable and open to feedback and change.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in an open, honest, and respectful manner.
- A proactive attitude towards learning and growing your skill set.
- A strong sense of ownership over the work you deliver, with the ability to see features through from concept to completion.
