.NET Developer

Job purpose

To support the developemnt and maintenance of applications built on the .NET framework. 

Working as part of a team, this role involves assisting with coding, debugging, testing and documentation tasks. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Design, develop, and implement software applications using .NET technologies and Vue.js. Ensure applications are optimised for scalability and user experience. 

• Collaborate with other developers, business analysts, and project managers to deliver software solutions that align with the company’s goals and client expectations. 

• Maintain high standards of code quality and manage version control. Participate in code reviews to ensure best practices and standards are followed. 

• Implement comprehensive testing strategies to ensure the reliability and performance of applications. Oversee the deployment of applications and monitor their performance post-launch. 

• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in .NET and Vue.js development. Apply new knowledge to continuously improve existing applications and processes. 

Experience & Knowledge

• Proficient in C#, with hands-on experience in both .NET Framework and .NET Core development. 

• Familiarity with Vue.js and modern web technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript is desirable but not essential. 

• Experience in software development, with a proven track record of developing applications. 

• Experience in various phases of the software development lifecycle, including planning, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance. 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of troubleshooting and addressing issues that arise during the development process. 

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
